Job summary

Elanco is seeking an Experior Data Specialist for a field-based role with significant travel in the Lincoln, NE area. You will enroll new prospects, manage CRM data, and support cross-functional sales efforts to grow relationships with producers and feed suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong CRM and Excel skills, and the ability to train customers on data submission while traveling extensively to advance product adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business, or related.
• Experience with CRM platforms and documenting call notes, organizing pre-call plans, and updating customer information.
• Excellent communication across external and internal stakeholders to advance new prospects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and willingness to learn feedlot accounting/software.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn sales and data practices; uphold Elanco values.

Responsibilities

• Assist and facilitate enrollment of new prospects via CRM and electronic documentation software to sign agreements and releases.
• Enter call notes and manage account changes in CRM; collaborate across the organization.
• Organize producer meetings, identify sales targets, and build customer and channel relationships.
• Train prospects on data submission practices and follow up at regular intervals.
• Coordinate customer appointments and travel for product advancement.
