Job summary

Elanco is seeking an Experior Data Specialist for field-based work in Lincoln, NE. You will enroll new prospects via CRM, document call notes, and coordinate across sales and channel teams to build customer relationships and drive data submissions.

The role requires a cattle-feeding background, CRM experience, and strong Excel skills, with travel up to 75% and close collaboration with sales and Knowledge Solutions teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business, or related field.
• Experience with cattle data and CRM programs; able to document call notes and manage customer info.
• Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; willingness to learn feedlot software.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to learn sales and data practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist enrollment of new prospects via CRM and electronic docs to sign agreements.
• Enter notes and changes in CRM; collaborate across the organization.
• Support cross-functional sales efforts and organize producer meetings.
• Educate customers on data submission and provide ongoing follow-up training.
• Coordinate scheduling of customer appointments and travel for product advancement.
• Maintain knowledge of Elanco Beef portfolio to support discussions.
