Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Building Construction Products (BCP) Customer Solutions Representative to join the Thompson Tractor team, based in Birmingham, AL.

In this field-facing role you will drive profitable growth across the dealer’s BCP portfolio—machine sales, parts, attachments, services, and Customer Value Agreements—while strengthening dealer capabilities and delivering customer-focused solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a dealer-facing field or customer-facing role.
• Solution-oriented, resilient mindset with strong customer focus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time/priorities.
• Experience supporting sales growth, dealer capability development, onboarding, or commercial programs.
• Experience in machine sales, attachments, parts, services, dealer development, or product support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the annual business plan for the assigned territory, including BCP machine, parts, attachments, services, Customer Value Agreement and other goals.
• Support variance programs and other commercial actions that grow sales.
• Partner with dealer sales, parts, service, product, attachment, and marketing teams to strengthen execution.
• Support attachment forecasting, ordering, inventory planning, sales strategy, marketing, and new attachments.
• Identify opportunities to grow BCP sales and displace competitive offers.
• Develop and promote Customer Value Agreement offers, including Services Commitment.
• Improve dealer sales performance through funnel management, reviews, and corrective action planning.
• Drive dealer and customer adoption of digital platforms and machine technology (Cat Central, VisionLink, shop.cat.com, parts.cat.com).
• Visit customers regularly to understand needs, gather insights, present solutions, and resolve issues.
• Share Voice of Customer and Voice of Dealer insights with Sales Support, Services Development, product groups, and internal stakeholders.
