Job summary

PhysicsX seeks a Deployment Lead to drive end-to-end deployments of its platform into customer infrastructure. You will engage with CIOs/CTOs, oversee regional deployment programs, and grow the deployment team in New York.

The role requires deep infrastructure experience, executive communication, and a track record of delivering complex enterprise projects. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and timely deployments across

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technical teams delivering complex infrastructure deployments.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience for enterprise deployments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Crossplane, Terraform, Helm).
• Experience navigating enterprise IT organisations: security reviews and procurement processes.
• Ability to build relationships with senior technical executives (CTO/CIO).
• Experience hiring and growing technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites 3–4 weeks per quarter.
• Experience in regulated or high-security environments; on-prem/HPC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executive engagement: lead technical discussions with CIOs/CTOs and represent PhysicsX region.
• Deployment oversight: own deployment programs across accounts and remove blockers.
• Cross-functional alignment: sync with delivery leads to align commitments and realities.
• Team building: recruit, onboard, and develop deployment engineers in region.
• Hands-on involvement: contribute directly on complex deployments when needed.
