Job summary

PhysicsX is seeking a Deployment Engineering leader to oversee the platform deployment into customer environments. You will engage CIOs/CTOs, guide cross-regional teams, and ensure successful, scalable deployments of our Kubernetes‑based platform.

The role combines executive relationship management with hands‑on technical leadership, requiring a track record of delivering complex enterprise infrastructure and a willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience delivering complex infrastructure or platform deployments in enterprise environments.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure expertise to guide technical conversations with executives.
• Proficient with infrastructure‑as‑code tooling (Crossplane, Terraform, Helm) and OCI ecosystem.
• Experience navigating large enterprise IT organizations: security reviews, procurement, stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior technical executives (CTO, CIO) at large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive-level technical conversations with CIOs/CTOs, scoping deployments and resolving escalations.
• Own deployment programmes across accounts, monitor status, identify blockers, serve as primary contact.
• Collaborate with delivery leads across regions to align commercial commitments with deployment realities.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop deployment engineers; establish repeatable processes and high standards.
• Step in hands-on for complex deployments, serving as the most experienced team member.
