Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate field work, and ensure safety and efficiency at job sites. You will train crew members, manage schedules, and maintain records while liaising with property owners and supervisors.

This full-time position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel for storm work. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with lifting and overhead work expectations and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Able to work overhead and lift up to 50 lbs.
• No fear of heights; travel for storm work may be required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforce safety practices per OSHA and company policies; conduct safety training.
• Discuss access and work details with property owners/customers; refer controversial cases as needed.
• Obtain permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintain good customer relations through effective completion of tasks and professional conduct.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance and costs.
