Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Controls Field Engineer in New Jersey to lead field commissioning of building automation systems (BAS) for each customer. You will solve complex problems, program BAS controllers, and serve as the in-field technical point of contact.

Responsibilities include loading software, configuring trends/alarms/reports, and delivering site-specific training to owners/operators while ensuring systems operate correctly and safely.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Building Automation and HVAC.
• Capable of climbing ladders or using lift equipment over 8 feet and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by the company.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer BAS systems.
• Serve as local in-field technical contact and field leader.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Deliver site-specific training to owners/operators.
