Zusammenfassung

ACRT, Inc. is seeking Forester professionals to identify, inspect, and evaluate trees along utility lines. You will submit findings with recommendations and negotiate crew access, acting as a liaison between clients, crews, and customers to ensure safe, compliant vegetation management.

Ideal candidates have a forestry-related degree or equivalent experience, strong tree ID skills, and proficient computer skills. Travel across a defined geography with comfortable weather conditions is required.

Qualifikationen

• 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR in lieu of a degree, 4 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or related field or ISA Arborist certification.
• ISA Arborist certification preferred
• Strong tree ID skills required
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
• Experience in utility vegetation management is a plus
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• GIS data collection software/hardware experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, production-oriented
• Comfortable working in independent environment and managing a geographic area
• Ability to work with stakeholders, utility customers and line clearance vendors and have excellent interpersonal skills
• Utility experience a plus
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking and strong time management skills
• Able to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (nights/weekends as needed)
• Valid driver's license required
