Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join our field team. You will repair buildings, follow safety procedures, read plans and complete tasks to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities include installing doors, roofing, siding, footings and general maintenance, with 25% travel and potential overtime during peak season. Wages start at $21–$23 per hour plus a first-year bonus of $2,000 and quarterly bonuses of $500.

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety and construction procedures to every building.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Repair doors, roofing, siding, gutters and maintain buildings.
• Operate hand tools and specialized equipment safely.
• Travel up to 25% and work in varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure efficient, quality work.
