Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join a team that repairs building projects and delivers a positive customer experience.

The role supports the construction team in meeting goals and upholding company standards on safety and quality. Responsibilities include reading plans, performing repairs (doors, siding, roofing, skylights, framing, windows), operating hand tools, and adapting to weather and travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Availability to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Commitment to safety procedures and operating tools properly.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds, with occasional up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 30% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn, apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures to every building.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Repair various components including doors, roofing, skylights, siding, and framing.
• Operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule and various weather conditions.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe and productive environment.
• Be ready to adapt to different types of repairs and problem-solve.
• Support daily materials organization and planning.
