Job summary

WSP USA in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent / Inspector to support our construction management team on multi-trade projects. Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

You will monitor quality, coordinate with trades and clients, review drawings, and ensure safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.
Minimum 5 years in large-scale construction with supervision.
Ability to read drawings and coordinate trades.
Strong communication and leadership; OSHA-30.

Responsibilities

Provide construction inspection for multi-trade contracts per specs.
Monitor work and materials to meet quality standards; coordinate with Code Officer.
Keep projects on schedule and within budget; meeting client needs.
Prepare construction reports and supervise inspectors on site.
Maintain a daily log of progress, workforce, materials, and deliveries.
Identify and resolve problems; conduct team meetings as needed.
Monitor contractor safety and coordinate with Safety Manager.
Travel may be required to project sites.
Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies.
Perform additional responsibilities as required.
