Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a field supervisor for a large New Albany, OH project. You will monitor planning, safety, quality and technical activities with multiple stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of experience, or 14–17 years without a degree. Proficiency in MS Office and a strong OSHA/Zero Accident background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 10–13 years' experience, or 14–17 years in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
• Familiar with construction tools and equipment and their uses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for documents, spreadsheets and databases.
• Experience managing union craft Heavy industrial US direct hire construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Bechtel's safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Carefully manage cost, schedule, and labor optimization on the project.
• Maintain 90 day and 3 week look-ahead schedules for labor and equipment.
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training with the Environmental Safety and Health team.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, requirements and Bechtel standards.
• Interface with labor/industrial relations on recruitment and training.
