Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Field Supervisor in New Albany, OH to monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a major project with multiple stakeholders. You will coordinate field staff and ensure work aligns with established schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Area execution leadership: lead field staff to deliver safe, coordinated construction.
• Cross-discipline planning: align civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping activities.
• Schedule ownership: own lookaheads, productivity, critical path, drive recovery actions.
• Safety/QA/QC: enforce safety and quality requirements across disciplines.
• Stakeholder coordination: primary field interface for superintendents and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage jobsite operations with Bechtel, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement construction schedules, staffing plans, and material requirements.
• Control labor, equipment, and services costs to stay within budget.
• Supervise personnel within assigned area and mentor field staff.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure regulatory safety compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings and enforce corporate policies.
• Provide backup support to Field Superintendent/Construction Manager.
