Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Denver, CO seeks a Site Safety Inspector to support field construction activities on the Xcel Energy MPG Program. You will conduct daily safety inspections, document contractor compliance, and verify JSAs.

The role requires strong communication and collaboration with field teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, knowledge of regulations, and preferred CSP/ASP/CHST or OSHA 30-Hour credentials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety monitoring or HSE roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Preferred CSP/ASP/CHST or OSHA 30-Hour Construction credentials.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with contractors and field teams.
• Proficiency with digital reporting and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations.
• Document and report contractor compliance with safety codes and client requirements.
• Verify contractor completion of Daily Job Briefs and JSAs.
• Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss events; monitor corrective actions.
• Monitor adherence to PPE, training, competency, and risk protocols.
• Participate in site safety reviews and tailgate meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors and field teams to align with safety objectives.
• Promote Jacobs BeyondZero Culture of Caring and safety excellence.
