Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Recognized safety certification required (BCSP/CSP preferred).
• Five years of experience in safety field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate the employee safety program in partnership with management.
• Provide regulatory compliance guidance to minimize deficiencies and ensure regulations are met.
• Engage management to foster safety leadership at locations; assist with contractor safety questions and paperwork.
• Monitor and interpret safety rules; develop company policies accordingly.
• Develop and deliver OSHA-required training for new hires and annual refreshers.
• Lead safety audits and communicate feedback on accident-elimination programs.
• Maintain professional expertise through conferences and certifications; support continuous improvement.
