Qualifications

• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders including Hensel Phelps staff, craft and trade partners.
• Assist the project superintendent in maintaining the accident prevention plan and safety management tools.
• Participate in the six-step quality control/safety process and follow-up inspections.
• Conduct project safety audits and assist with OSHA inspections.
• Assist in accident investigations, injury management and claim reporting.
• Monitor safety performance of the company and trade partners.
