Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Henderson, NV seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the site quality control program, maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report.

This role requires 3+ years in materials testing and at least one certification (ACI Grade I, NICET Level II, ICC special inspector or USACE CQM-C); sponsorship for further training is provided, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• At least one of: ACI Grade I, NICET Level II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and translate to a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate nonconformances to a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily quality control report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
• Lead the look-ahead planning and coordinate with crews on test coverage.
