Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, and write the daily QC report, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

The role requires 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC, plus certifications such as ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC Special Inspector, or USACE CQM-C. Travel to project sites is expected as schedules demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and schedule tests.
• Willing to lead field inspection and communicate with superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
