Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project under a senior quality manager, including maintaining the inspection and test plan, scheduling and witnessing tests, and writing the daily QC report.

The role requires 3+ years in construction materials testing or related QC, plus certifications such as ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C. Travel to project sites with per diem is possible as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Verify certifications of the technicians performing tests.
• Write the daily quality control report and the three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
