Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the project quality program. This role involves maintaining the ITP, scheduling and witnessing tests, and producing the daily QC reports on site.

The position requires 3+ years in materials testing or QC and relevant certifications such as ACI, NICET, ICC, or USACE CQM-C, with strong communication to coordinate between field staff and engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC on a project.
• At least one of the following certifications: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and convert them into a test schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
