Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and project support at client sites.

This role coordinates with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily and quality reports, drawings conformance, and subcontractor oversight, while maintaining field records, photographs, and progress updates. Travel is 100% across the United States with emphasis on safety and client communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, drawings conformity, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label them.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records and files per document control requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and Systems Work Instructions.

Education
