Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. seeks an Onsite Construction Manager or Engineer to oversee subcontractors and provide Owner's Advisor services on IPD/Design-Build projects across industrial water and wastewater infrastructure.

Significant travel to sites is required, with rotations typically every 2 weeks and per diem reimbursements for expenses. The role focuses on safety, quality, scheduling, risk management, RFIs, and change control, coordinating with the project director and team to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' construction management or related field.
• Experience with IPD/Design-Build projects and large industrial systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite operations and implement safety and quality programs.
• Develop and manage project schedules; monitor progress and reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors; review pay applications and RFIs.
• Manage changes, scope, and risk; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train junior staff; liaise between design team and field.
• Support project management tasks during field transitions.
