Brown and Caldwell, headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial water and wastewater design projects. You will plan, execute, and oversee mid- to large-scale projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Design Leads and engineers to implement best delivery practices, while supporting proposals and client service across the Private Sector Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing mid-size to large projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or business administration.
• Professional Engineer certification preferred.
• Experience in private sector water, wastewater or infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team to define scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and monitor detailed project plans and milestones.
• Manage risks, changes, and quality to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients for status updates.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on design and construction tasks.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
