Job summary

Brown and Caldwell seeks a Project Manager to lead industrial water projects within the Private Sector Business Unit across the US, applying expertise in water and wastewater engineering, client services, and project management.

The PM will plan, execute, and oversee projects from scope to delivery, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and safety standards. Collaboration with PSBU, Design Services, and build leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience successfully managing projects of increasing complexity.
• Experience with development and monitoring of project schedules.
• Experience with development and monitoring of project budgets.
• Experience with risk management concepts.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in project planning, risk and change management, and contract management of small to mid-size projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for small to mid-sized projects.
• Set direction: define objectives, schedules, budgets, and success factors.
• Communicate: establish effective communication methods for standups and client interactions.
• Support team motivation and development.
• Establish trust through integrity and transparency.
• Develop project scope, schedule, and budget with stakeholders.
• Manage external resources to deliver contracted scope.
