Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, seeks a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end field execution on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects in Texas. You will build and coach civil, mechanical, and electrical teams, align with Safety and Quality groups, and manage subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.

Travel includes site rotations, with a focus on regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Construction management experience on largescale industrial, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects with direct responsibility for field execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead fullscope field execution across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on complex utilityscale solar and energy storage projects, with clear ownership of outcomes.
• Partner with onsite Safety, Quality, and Logistics teams to align field execution and ensure delivery against safety, quality, schedule and cost expectations.
• Build, develop, and retain highperforming Superintendent teams by setting clear expectations and coaching decisionmaking.
• Own project performance—safety, schedule, quality, cost, and environmental compliance through disciplined planning and lookahead execution.
• Conduct weekly site risk assessments and maintain the Risk & Opportunity log with Project Management teams.
• Lead environmental compliance for the project, ensuring SWPPP, permits, erosion control, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive subcontractor field performance and uphold safety and environmental standards while resolving field issues decisively.
• Review and challenge Change Order Requests for contractual basis, pricing, and invoices against completed work and budget.
• Anticipate and resolve constructability, logistics, and coordination challenges before impacting schedule or cost.
• Establish and maintain owner confidence through transparent communication and reliable delivery against commitments.
