Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Civil Engineer to lead large-scale civil/site designs for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Construction teams to ensure safe, cost-effective execution from development through construction.

You will perform site visits, coordinate with related disciplines, and drive constructability improvements and standardized workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience supporting land development and site preparation for large-scale construction projects.
Experience reviewing and applying civil engineering design principles in construction environments.
Experience with stormwater management, drainage design, and erosion control practices.
Willing and able to travel up to 25% for project site visits and field support activities.

Responsibilities

Develop large-scale project civil and site preparation designs.
Monitor construction phase activities and manage field adjustments.
Coordinate with other Engineering disciplines (Project, Structural, Electrical).
Utilize third-party partners to complete grading and drainage plans, SWPPP, hydrology reports, etc.
Complete project due diligence via site visits to evaluate grading and site preparation strategy.
Review grading and drainage plans, drainage studies, ALTA/topo and other survey documents.
