Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Company, seeks a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end field execution on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will build Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while aligning with subcontractors and regulatory requirements.

This site-based role involves travel to project locations, weekly risk reviews, and proactive management of cost and schedule to achieve project success for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams on large industrial or renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and contracts.
• Strong safety, quality, and regulatory knowledge.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope field execution across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on complex utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Partner with onsite Safety, Quality, and Logistics teams, along with remote functional partners, to align field execution and delivery.
• Build, develop, and retain Superintendent teams by setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
• Own project performance—safety, schedule, quality, cost, and environmental compliance—through disciplined planning and risk management.
• Conduct weekly site risk assessments and maintain the Risk & Opportunity log in coordination with Site/Project Management.
• Lead environmental compliance for the project (SWPPP, permits, erosion control) with Environmental and Safety teams.
• Drive subcontractor performance and cost control by reviewing Change Orders and invoices against contracts and budget.
• Anticipate and resolve constructability and coordination challenges before impacting schedule or cost.
• Establish owner confidence through transparent communication and reliable delivery against commitments.
