Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations across client project sites in the United States. You will represent the company at the site, manage safety, quality, scheduling, and client relations, and work closely with Project Managers on complex projects.

This 100% field-based role requires extensive travel and a strong background in construction management, supervision, and coordination with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety and quality per drawings.
• Ensures work adheres to project schedule; escalates delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Takes progress photographs and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design revision.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintains on-site records and files per CDM Smith document control requirements.
