Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client project sites across the United States. You will oversee safety, quality control, scheduling, contract conformance, and customer relations, representing the company on site.

Work is performed with minimal supervision on moderate to high complexity projects; travel is 100% to project sites, and you may support other construction managers on larger projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience
• Associate/Bachelor degree in CM/Engineering or related discipline with required experience
• At least 3 years in Construction Management/Supervision

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety and quality per drawings
• Ensures work adheres to project schedule and notifies PM of delays
• Writes daily and quality inspection reports for project records
• Takes progress photos and labels them for records
• Prepares monthly progress reports
• Uses latest design revisions for construction and pays contract extras as needed

Education

High School diploma or equivalent (12 years of relevant experience)

Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
