Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. You will ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and on-site communications, representing the company with clients and subcontractors.

The role is field-based, with heavy industrial project experience, frequent travel, and responsibility for daily reports, progress photos, and contract-related activities under supervision of the Project Construction

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 12 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 9 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering; at least 3 years in CM/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership.
• Take progress photographs and label each photo for records.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with management and clients on project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
