Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations at client project sites across the United States. You will ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and client relations while representing the company on site.

Responsibilities include supervision of subcontractors, progress reporting, and coordination with the Project Construction Manager on complex, heavy industrial projects. 100% field-based travel required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant construction experience.
• Associate degree with 9 years of relevant experience in construction management/supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience in construction management/engineering; degree in CM/Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for site records.
• Take progress photos and label each photo.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design revision for construction.
• Provide assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear and professional correspondence with project management and clients.
