Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations at client project sites across the United States. This role focuses on safety, quality, scheduling, contracts, drawings, and customer relations while representing the company on-site.

Work is performed in the field with minimal supervision on projects of moderate to high complexity. Travel is required up to 100% to project locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction management/supervision experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 9+ years with an associated degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 6+ years with a Bachelor's in Construction Management/Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings.
• Maintain project schedule adherence and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Take progress photographs and label each photograph for records.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear, professional communications with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per The Perry Group document control requirements.
