Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations at client projects across the United States. You will oversee safety, quality control, scheduling, subcontractors, drawings, and client relations, representing the firm at the project site.

This 100% field role requires coordinating with the Project Construction Manager, preparing daily and monthly reports, maintaining on-site records, and ensuring use of the latest design

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 12 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 9 years in Construction Management/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years in Construction Management/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Take progress photographs and organize documentation.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and ensure up-to-date drawings.
• Provide guidance to ensure use of latest design revisions on-site.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain professional correspondence with management and clients regarding project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per company requirements.
