Job summary

Eversource seeks a skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee contractor activities on transmission and substation projects. The role requires field oversight, adherence to plans, and coordination with project teams across Transmission Project Management, Environmental Permitting, and Outreach Services.

You will ensure safety, environmental compliance, and schedule progress, while reviewing materials, managing changes, and supporting emergency restoration efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of related construction experience.
• Experience with transmission systems preferred.
• Must obtain switching and tagging certification and substation escorting privileges.
• OSHA training and knowledge of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction contractor activities at transmission and distribution facilities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Provide daily progress, cost and schedule updates.
• Review material requirements, orders, and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Mentor other department members and support emergency restoration as needed.
