Job summary

K&A Power Group in Fillmore, New York, seeks a Field Construction Coordinator to oversee field operations on energy projects. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure progress aligns with project schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong electrical utility construction experience, supervisory skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to read drawings and communicate effectively across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in electric utility construction management.
• Two years of college preferred.
• Distribution line work experience required.
• MS Excel proficiency required.
• Knowledge of NRA clearances and switching orders would be beneficial.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and convey interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support and coordinate on-site activities to resolve problems.
• Attend safety, environment and quality meetings; report findings.
• Review contractor invoices and track progress; issue two-week lookahead.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to schedules and specs.
• Coordinate material delivery between customer stockroom and contractors.
