LaBella Associates seeks a Field Construction Coordinator for our Program Management Services Division in New York. You will oversee contractor crews, ensure safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance, and coordinate with PMs, schedulers, and document control to meet client construction requirements.

The role requires strong experience in electric utility construction, distribution line work, and proficiency in MS Office, with GPS/SAP knowledge being a plus.

Formación

• Minimum of five years in progressive electric utility industry with transmission facilities construction management.
• Two years of college is preferred.
• Distribution line work experience is required.
• Proficient MS Excel and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of NRA clearances, switching orders beneficial.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and relay to contractors.
• Knowledge of utility assets and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.
• Apply project safety program requirements to ensure compliance by all workers.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the project quality program.
• Ensure projects are built per approved plans and codes and maintain quality.
• Assist in development and maintenance of construction schedule with project team.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders when PM unavailable.
• Provide leadership to construction team and manage risks to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate engineering with constructability analysis and document reviews.
• Participate in construction conference calls and meetings to report status.
• Maintain onsite records and daily/weekly construction reports.
