Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Field Coordinator for a Phoenix, AZ project site. You will coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, manage daily reporting, QA/QC, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed.

You will oversee subcontractors, maintain project records, assist with monthly progress reports, and ensure the latest design drawings are used. 100% travel required; degree in construction-related field preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of construction/field operations experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of construction/field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant construction management/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, QA/QC, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and conformance with drawings and specifications.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports and maintain project records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
