Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Site Construction Manager 1 to lead on-site field operations at client project sites across the United States. This role represents the company, manages safety, quality, scheduling and coordination with subcontractors to ensure drawings and specifications are followed.

The position requires a strong background in construction management, supervision of subcontractors, and the ability to generate daily reports, progress photos and monthly progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with 6+ years in CM/Supervision.
• Strong on-site management and subcontractor oversight.
• Ability to travel 100% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe and meets quality control.
• Ensures work adheres to project schedule and reports delays.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Takes progress photos and prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Maintains project records and uses latest design revisions.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with Client.
