Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to lead safety, QA/QC, and schedule management for electric utility projects in the Program Management Services Division. The role interfaces with Project Managers, schedulers, document control, and contractors to ensure compliance with plans and client requirements.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years in the electric utility sector, distribution line experience, and strong MS Excel/Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in progressive electric utility industry with transmission facilities construction management.
• Two years of college preferred; distribution line work experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; GPS and SAP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings and convey interpretations to contractors.
• Knowledge of OSHA, safety programs, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.
• Assist in creation and facilitation of the project quality program.
• Work with Project Manager to ensure projects meet plans, specs, and codes.
• Develop and maintain construction schedule with project team to meet milestones.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to monitor progress and targets.
• Provide strong leadership to construction team and manage risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate engineering and conduct constructability reviews; document daily/weekly reports.
