Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee roadway and bridge projects, including field audits, plan interpretation, and quality control inspections. Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Progressive roadway/bridge inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain GDOT certifications within specified time frames.
• Proficient reading of construction documents and specs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Inspectors in construction oversight and inspection duties.
• Review construction plans and shop drawings for compliance.
• Monitor activities to ensure quality standards and specs are met.
• Conduct field audits of ICQA processes and inspection procedures.
• Inspect roadways, structures, and drainage per project requirements.
• Document findings and prepare electronic reports; support safety practices.
