Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection activities on highway and bridge projects
• Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications
• Establish engineering controls for construction and inspection
• Prepare daily inspection reports
• Perform on-site material testing and sampling
• Measure and document completed work
• Read and interpret construction plans and specs
• Communicate effectively with project staff and clients
• Operate basic computer/tablet tasks (iPad)
