Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with large civil projects and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects to verify compliance with design specs, safety codes, and federal regulations.
• Documents inspection results including deficiencies, structural condition, and required corrective actions.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material certifications with engineers and project teams.
• Monitors construction progress and prepares daily reports, deficiency notices, and technical recommendations.
• Oversees field construction services, ensuring safety, environmental, and permitting requirements are met.
