Job summary

The role includes reviewing submittals, maintaining reports, and mentoring junior staff on federal or DoD projects. A High School Diploma and 5+ years of construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background check.
• Proficient at interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with large commercial, municipal or federal projects and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects to verify compliance with design specs, standards and codes.
• Documents inspection results, deficiencies, and required corrective actions.
• Reviews submittals, RFIs, shop drawings and material certifications with engineers and project teams.
• Monitors progress, prepares daily reports and status updates.
• Oversees field construction services, ensuring safety, quality and permitting compliance.
• Performs site investigations and participates in design reviews and project closeout activities.
• Develops technical files and communicates with contractors, engineers, and clients.
