Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client project sites across the United States. The role covers field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, scheduling, and safety adherence under general supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating field operations with the site construction lead, supervising subcontractors, maintaining records and reports, and ensuring up-to-date drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations, scheduling, and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedules and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Take and label progress photographs for documentation; assist with monthly progress reports.
• Ensure contractors use latest design drawing revisions; support the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with client approval; maintain clear project communications.
