Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to work 100% in the field on client projects. You will perform field engineering, site administration, design, estimating, and quality control under general supervision, with duties in the field or office as needed.

You will coordinate with the site construction lead, manage subcontractor activities, and ensure compliance with drawings, schedules and safety requirements, while preparing progress and contract-related documents.

Qualifications

• Field engineering, site administration and coordination on construction projects.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, quality control and scheduling.
• Safety adherence and coordination with subcontractors and field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports and conformance to drawings.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write daily and quality inspection reports for project records.
• Maintain on-site records and assist with progress reports.
