CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client project sites. The role involves field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and quality control under general supervision in either field or office settings.

The position requires overseeing subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, maintaining records, and contributing to monthly progress reporting. Travel to project sites is expected with a strong focus on field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on overall field operations, scheduling, daily/quality reports and subcontractor communications.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as records.
• Take progress photographs and label each photo for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• Support Project Construction Manager as needed.
