Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, drawings conformity, and subcontractor communications
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and quality controls
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site lead or PM
• Take progress photographs and label them for documentation
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports
• Ensure latest design drawing revisions are used in construction
• May assist the Project Construction Manager and potentially supervise key trades or subcontractors
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager
• Maintain clear, professional correspondence with project management and clients
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements
• Understand and follow the Quality Policy and related work instructions
• Travel up to 100% as required by project locations

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years relevant experience

Associate degree + 6 years relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience (Construction Management, Engineering, or related)
