Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and related tasks at client project sites across the United States. The role supports scheduling, quality control, safety adherence, and coordination with subcontractors.

You will work 100% in the field, under general supervision, with opportunities to prepare daily reports, progress photos, and assist with monthly progress reports while ensuring drawings and specifications are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience, in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the assistance and coordination with the site construction lead on the overall field operations of a project from scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings, specifications, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the intent of the drawings.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager which become record document.
