Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a skilled Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client project sites. You will perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, safety adherence, and provide technical direction on assigned projects.

Work is conducted from field or office with general supervision. Expect extensive travel and 100% field oversight for heavy industrial projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule, escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership.
• Take progress photographs and label each photograph for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
