Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and construction support on client projects. Work is in the field at a project site with supervision from field leadership.

You will coordinate with the site construction lead, monitor safety and quality, prepare daily/quality reports, and assist with progress reporting. Travel is 100% across the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformance to drawings and specs, and subcontractor communications.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership and project management.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label them.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• Provide assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed.
